Main Stream News Dilemma
Too good a news cycle.
Riots are pushing COVID narrative aside! What to do? Fortunately they think that they can still make the case that Trump is responsible for both. |

Good observation. Trump is not actually responsible and will tell you so. He really fumbles the ball though as a habit it seems. The people that are really responsible at least for the virus entering north America and spreading it are never really mentioned. This is where he might have made a difference. To me it is important to identify them and get them replaced. There were existing protocols to follow that were ignored for some unfathomable reason. Otherwise there could be another episode down the road. Too many things went wrong from the start. The narrative that all the demonstrations are riots is misleading. The police are good at starting them. Some of the cities are having no issue with the demonstrations. In some demonstrations I suspect plants and so do the demonstrators I imagine. Who pays them I have no ideal. The attention span of the public is unbelievably short. Should never be ignored. Both issues unfortunately are important issues. Some time back before the killing. I did express that I hoped that another unidentified event did not arise to overlap the virus issue. The economy as we know it is possibly subject to more damage than expected in that scenario unfortunately. A third unexpected event on top of these two could really be an issue. This administration does not seem fit to cope with either of them so far. To prove that there are established ways to deal with issues. We acted as is normally expected with an epidemic. So we have no virus issues. It was hard to wipe out the last probable case in our four provinces. Yet it may be done. We may avoid the second wave if we are fortunate. It may be one hot problematic summer ahead for most other areas of north America. We actually have a minor second wave at this time because of a stupid doctor. It is totally under control as far as we can tell. That very small area is sealed drum tight. If a decision is made to really fight the virus this late is going to not be cheap as we experienced it was. We sealed the borders and dealt with the cases we had. They will have to remain sealed for the forseeable time. Right over one of our sealed borders they have had already over 50,000 cases and lots of deaths. Plus it is very much still ongoing there. This side of that sealed border there where 120 cases and a few deaths in total. We had about 1300 cases in total in our province. It is not sane to open up with even one case. .Other countries have already established this. As for the current demonstrations. Any effort to really start to address the true issues would stop them. There are legitimate issues involved. Obama suggested a good approach. I fear it is just too little too late for his but there are others. |

No he is not responsible for the problems and not many are saying he is. What he is responsible for is his piss poor response to them and how he has addressed the issues.
This is where leadership is important ... he has no leadership skills. He cannot communicate (the most important part of it) and he has not planning skills. He is an abject failure in this regard. |
He is providing excellent leadership. His arrogant attitude and lack of need for the money paid by the job allow him to take the serious steps that sheep like obama or hrs would not and could not take.
Right guy at the right time. Get some facts instead of embarrassing yourself as a sheep gullible enough to believe the MSM! |

This should be in politics and religion.

The saddest part is that there are so many idiots who actually believe that. |

love my buckwheat
so wrong,Uncle Ben's too.As a person from multi race background,I can say it's wrong. Buckwheat was the best ever made, mix. Uncle Remus,Uncle Ben, and Aunt Jemima were indearing names used by wealthy whites,to explain to their children, what to call the help. Not the racist names used by our presidents family. So this had to mean some southern whites, raised their children to believe black folk were equals to them.

Aunt Jemima & Uncle Ben
This is a sad thing, they might have considered asking what average black folks think before dropping the famous and well trusted brand names .

I know, love the buckwheat, can't find it out here

Crackerjack
I used to love this back before Borden products bought it up and cheapened it .
Only a dime in the 1960's . |
Odd perhaps but I never felt things like aunt Jemima syrup or uncle Ben's rice where in any was racist. Actually dropping them as brand trademarks to me would be.
I gave up on the bulk of people many years ago that could not concentrate on rowing their own boats through life. With their self perceived luxury of having bias against others just doing the same. I still have no ideal of how you get people to understand people are just people. Good, bad or otherwise. It really is a form of mental sickness otherwise. |

I have almost no ideal of why we still pay cable charges for television. There is so little that interests us. Something occasionally of interest on the history channel is about it for me.

T.V.
Same here ~ I've not turned the T.V. set in my bedroom on in close to ten years .
SWMBO loves to have the T.V. playing in the back ground, I hate it . |
