In high cost areas of north America. Many people live in little more than closets. They cannot afford cars or the public transportation costs on the wages paid. To reside in affordable areas. A distance from where they work.
To me we have a distinct class system in north America. There is no freedom without a certain income level really. It is an illusion to think otherwise. Massive corporations seem to have become very self centered. Since the virus I have been doing a lot of shopping for the wife. Some of the current markups over their product costs. I had a real look at and find them unethical. They are far too excessive in reality. Their vertical integration also raises questions. Efficency should not be the enabler of excessive profits. Specifically market domination as a result. I see trends of things getting far worse with time. |
The plumber in me wonders how they got sewage out of that place. A few things go wrong, getting in to repair would be uh, well, ...
|
I duh know. It looks like they had a pretty good go-kart track.
|
That looks kindof odd to me.
After reading the link I accept it is real, though the pressure to build so high in such a restricted area is very hard to understand. There is a lot of open area around it. It says the buildings were built without regard to codes etc. Buildings were built above existing structures. It is amazing it did not burn down or simply fall down due to faulty structures. |
