I'd love to buy a jail toilet, they'd flush a man

Come to think of it, some of my best ideas were crafted while I was on the potty. Heck, a good chunk of my final dissertation must have come from being under the influence of my own fumes...

Vortexes & Elongated Bowls

I have extremely high mineral content water, it ruins everything it touches in a few years with non remov1able stains (yes, I use "Barkeep's Friend") .

My Elongated bowl Kohler looks bad now but still flushes first time, every time , has never clogged once .

The height is a separate issue, the taller one are called "handicap" and I highly suggest them .

They almost use no water. Or the water is moving in a higher volume faster like all the no swirl toilets i have been installing. Yet wonder about how long they will preform as well. They are not going to do well with any buildup of in that hole passage. To me the flow just pushes the load into and through the trap visually. No Vortex at all. I was also thinking on a marginal sloping drain there may not be enough water per flush for that drain.

So far so good with the elongated toilet bowls. They almost instantly set up a suction pull. In comparison to toilets with a vortex action. I am still impressed. If they will go the distance is another issue. They are a little higher as well. This possibly increases the gravity drop effect of the water a little. The old ones use a developing suction. The non vortex ones more of a forced one. The centrifical force the vortex ones develop on the load as well as the water has to be overcome. Wasting the needed flush energy as well. A huge percentage of the flush water goes to building up the vortex.

What brand cleaner do you suggest?

The deposits where not really hard. I also had an issue of deciding what I could use. It is easy to say anything that puts those deposits into suspension.

Just no ideal of what would be best and economical. I believe vinegar is used for mineral deposits. What I observed are not mineral deposits. I took a stick and could move the buildup very easy.

Since the toilet is out I am going to try high pressure water. It kind of stlll bothers me to see so much buildup in the normally dry area of the trap. Enough at least in my opinion to easily cause the issue.

Found It ! (sort of)

O.K., two years or more ago I had a serious problem with roots in all the drains of our then rented house, went to Amazon and found "ROBEC" products ~ here's a quick link :

The stuff I bought and used was a two stage foaming powder in a plastic wide mouth jug ~ you poured it down the drain / toilet and ran the water a while then left it to sit for 24 hours (that's the hard part) and Lo ! it worked, co$t $130 dollars but didn't kill the neighbor's bushes that were the problem .

I wonder if figuring out which item it was then trying it with the toilet in situ would solve your problem and give the mail lines a good periodic cleaning .

The land lord was told they'd need a $14,000.00 re pipe job that involved destroying pristine concrete work and replacing it with nasty halfassed asphalt...
