Need advice / help electrical wire harness issue

A neighbor gave me their NordicTrack elliptical. They took it apart to get it out of their home and in doing so pulled some of the wires out of one of the wire harnesses.

First I have to figure out where the 3 wires go. I looked at the other harness it connects to. Some of the wire colors are the same... but some are not. I will call tech support and see if this issue can be resolved.

My question is - what is the best way to get those wires back into the harness?
Looks like I can pry the plastic arms apart and insert the wires.

Is there a tool for this? I’m afraid of breaking the plastic. It’s about 18 years old.
A new harness is $100 and would require taking the elliptical apart to install a new harness.

You might be able to push the individual connectors out, recrimp the wires then put them back in the slots. can we see the other side? Or are these the kind that slice the insulation to make contact? then pick out any remaining strands of wire and slice it again.

I think I have some very small eyeglass screwdrivers somewhere to pry it apart. Hopefully it won’t fall apart in my hands. The other side of the harness has a bunch of wires which “mostly” match up so I probably will get them in the right place.
At worst I can spring $100 and buy a new harness. $3 of wire and plastic...

I think you'll find that the barrel pins are held in the connector by locking tabs. If you can find the tabs and work a small screwdriver or pick in there, the pins should pop out. Once out, you can resolder the wires and reinstall in place. The big question is, what is the correct order?
