Sweet. Glad it's in a million years. If it was 2020, we'd probably all be screwed considering how this year has gone so far.

Sounds like they have a bright future.

They may have to put a warning system some distance from earth. Apparently some can sneak in unnoticed from time to time. Until it would be too late to try to deal with them. Date of last semi signifigant hit was early in the last century. Before that they do not probably know.


That aside I agree a remarkable child.

Isn’t that the truth! :)

This is not an important accomplishment for PhD astronomers. It hardly deserves a footnote.

The most important impact of the news is that two kids can make a difference in science. I hope there will be more. The girls deserve credit because they did the time and did the work. I know nothing about them. Nor their social standing. Yet these two are kids who put energy and time into important scientific facts. I hope those to continue to influence science. We will all benefit.
