$92k Ram 'launch' truck sells out in 3 hrs

Seems like an insane amount for what should be a utility vehicle ... and a Dodge to boot. Not like they are known for reliability.

That's a bargain compared to a new G-Wagen

Economy sucks, vote Joe. Soon to be seen around here. Farmers are really hurting according to Forum Gump.

Wow, can’t even talk about trucks without hate surfacing.

BIG Pickups

I use my trucks, whatever they may be, for work, not for styling .

This rig is beautiful but not designed for any sort of actual work .

"bro-dozers" deserve every bit of the ridicule they get .

My son has a 2003 Chevy crew cab short bed diesel pickup, it doesn't make too much noise and has plenty of go fast tweaks done to it because he hauls mostly Motocycles way the hell and gone out into the Desert for racing .

It's too darn big for me but I sure enjoy riding in it and I'm sure riding in this new Hot Rod Dodge will be fun too .

No hate , just the facts .

Since this sold out quickly it shows that Chrysler Corp. understands their market targets very well indeed .

Thats aimed at the Raptor

Show me another 700hp truck with a warranty for less than $92k.

How many did they sell?

If they made 3 and SOLD OUT QUICKLY, that’s actually not impressive.

Look at sales a year from now.

To me, it looks like a gimmick story designed by an ad firm.

Did you not read the article? In the very first paragraph it said there were 702 examples of the vehicle in question. Basic reading comprehension here.

Selling 702 $92K vehicles in under 3 hours is impressive for any car company. I'd personally never own a Fia-sler, but kudos to them for identifying a lucrative target audience.

This is also not the first time they've done this. Don't forget the Jeep Gladiator a couple years ago when they had a lottery system for the "Launch Edition". It too sold out very quickly.
