I had a card with some money left on it but always ended up with an odd amount with no way to really use it all without the hassle of having it declined. Did a little research and found you can use the remaining balance (no matter what) to reload your Amazon gift card. Just go into Amazon gift cards, add the card and reload for the amount left on the card.

I have yet to shop at a store that won't let you charge a specific amount to a card, so I guess I've never had that problem. When one of those gets down to a small amount I just write it on the card and have the cashier type in whatever it is...
