Has anyone else heard about this german battery? It will blow Tesla out of the water. Also soon, free electricity for all.

My experience is that nothing is free. No matter what they say. I just developed a small office building and was required to install a charging station for electric vehicles. So you have to pull out your credit card to use it. Even if they give you the electricity free in the future, you will probably have to pay for the convenience of using the charging station.

That said I have not heard of the german battery but wish them luck.

Capitalism is great. Free electricity, just costs you twenty dollars to plug it in, the electricity is free.

If that’s true then that’s good news. A giant leap in portable electric technology

Every type of battery developed so far has an issue somewhere. I liked the li-ion 3.7 volt aa small cells that internally has an electronic chip .To reduce the volts to 1.6 volts with efficiency. Plus that chemistry needs two forms of protection that the chip also provides.

That was until I got thinking. Small cells are used in series. The batteries chemistry is not good for the circuit board and chip in there. So an electronic failure can create a break in the voltage chain or even a fire or light explosion of the battery could result.

A fortune is being spent in research and development to try to find a good solution to better batteries. Any company that finds a real winning solution should make a true fortune.

I have been waiting for years for a battery technolgy to emerge that has no issues. As is the electric car industry. Some batteries out there today in the marketplace are potentially dangerous but otherwise are superior.

I suspect one will be developed in the future. Will There be enough of the right materials to manufacture them in the quantities wanted? Is another issue. On any new battery technology you have to find the weakness they have or have not.

The lead acid battery and the carbon based battery where about it in my early days.

The electric cars need a battery that can be pulled out like a drawer and exchanged for a charged one. Or the pull out part may need to be a gas engine to charge the battery.

Solar panel tech needs to catch up. If a car could have about 2kw Or more of solar on it could stay charged while driving

would only work if you had your own spares. Otherwise peeps would ruin a battery and exchange if for a good one at the public swap.

Talking Free Electricity

FWIW, the gop pushed that narrative on the South West power companies and grid and the unsurprising result was power blackouts .

Now watch the cowardly liars try to blame the libs for their yet again .

yep america needs to invest in the grid. under ground power lines, no wrecks, snow, ice, wind damages. too must harden for solar emp. also build need electronics using far less power
