Yeah, I know.

I know two people who hate being told what to do. Just for fun, I tell them not to stick their tinky in a wall socket, and then I leave the room. In less than a minute, I hear a loud pop from the electrical arc, followed by a blood curdling scream.

There are websites of pictures of plastic surgeries gone bad. I ALMOST feel sorry for the people on them.

Talking "Don't Do That"

Yes, telling children and childish adults not to do a thing often gets them to do it in spite of obviously not being a good idea .

Many decades ago my late stepmother (a wonderful woman who should have avoided by father) told me a story : her mother went to the store and said 'I'll be back soon, don't put beans up your nose' ~ knowing full well she and he brother would do exactly that .

The problem was : no beans in the house so they went to the driveway and stuck pea gravel up their noses, beans are easy to get out once you stop panicing, gravel very much less so, by the time mom got home both children were bleeding freely from their noses and needed to see a doctor...

Lesson earned by me ! . be very careful when choosing things to do that you were warned against .

I have looked at many failed plastic surgery sites, I can't say I feel sorry for most of them, they chose to disfigure them selves .

When I was about 13 i put a dime up my nose. It disappeared past a little flap of skin and I could not reach it at all. I was so embarrassed I had to get mom to pull it out with tweezers.
