Two cars that come from the factory with excellent compressors.....
Pontiac G8s didn't come with a spare in the US. Just a can of fix a flat and a compressor. I picked up one of the compressors in a junk yard and it works great. Also later model Dodges. Or Chryslers. They have a compressor that has a can of flat fixer built in, but if you use the can they are $60 to replace. So I have never used the can, I just flip the switch to 'air' and they work great. These show up on Ebay, or at any wrecking yard that deals in late models. |

Tire Inflators
Ah, HA ! I went to the Bay of E. and searched 'Pontiac G8 tire inflator' and got this : https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=pontica+g8+tire+inflator&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_osacat=0&_odkw=pontiac+g8+air+compressor
Here are the results for 'Dodge tire inflator' : https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=dodge+tire+inflator&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_osacat=0&_odkw=pontiac+g8+tire+inflator I bet if you take note of the Dodges and look n your local LKQ's website, you'll find a Dodge, Chrysler or Poncho G8 you can get this inflator out of far cheaper than E-Bay .

Take a look at this if you are already using DeWalt 20 volt cordless tools.
https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCC020IB-20V-Inflator-Bare/dp/B07H39S9JQ/ref=sr_1_1?crid=28JBLQYXBISVT&dchild=1&keywords=dewalt+20v+air+compressor+tire+inflator&qid=1628791258&sprefix=dewalt+20v+air%2Caps%2C197&sr=8-1 The really nice feature is you set the desired pressure, say 32 psi, turn it on, and when it reaches 32psi it shuts off. |

I hope that you boys aren't ruining your Mercedes by using non-German air in those tires...

My 1970 6.3 had a metal plate inside the gas door that gave tire pressures for over 100 mph. Hard to believe that was over 50 years ago.
I have also used a cheap plastic China compressor that plugs into the cig lighter socket. Works fine but gets way hot. |

Always figured rip off. Atmosphere is about eighty percent nitrogen.
Worn out quite a few cheap 12 volt tire pumps over the years. Perhaps those pumps that come with the vehices are better quality. Lawn tractors and toys with pneumatic tires. I always seem to have one that loses some tire pressure sitting around. |

No ;
I'm blocked from any attachments whatsoever . I was in the store and saw it and checked the price, I was stunned as I'd paid $10 for the one I've been using some years now at the junkyard .

One of the minor benefits from N2 in tires is that it leaks out slower than O2 or H2O vapor, because N2 molecules are larger. Consumer Reports did a quick test showing that pure N2 leaked out at a rate about 20% lower than air.
That means that what leaks out of a "slow leak" is largely O2 or H2O. So, as you regularly top off a tire as it leaks down, the air inside the tire becomes more "nitrogen-ier." Helium (He) atoms are tiny compared to the common atmospheric molecules, and would leak out rapidly. That's why He is used to test for leaks. |
