O.K., we've been having a bit of a heat wave and as suddenly as the damn ants swarmed my razor, they stopped again .

They're still invading the bathroom sink and toilet, the kitchen sink not so much this Summer .

THANK YOU for all the great ant killing suggestions ! .

I had the ant problem just like nate. But strangely, they ALL just vanished overnight. No pestisides, no poisons. I stayed on top of food scraps/anything ants like, ('cept water!). I had/have spiders inside & was careful not to disturb them Man! They scarfed down those ants! I live alone and dont have any issues with spiders. Or snakes either. Anything eats ants and/or rodents is OK by me.

FWIW:

Another thing:
I found a college web site, (I dont remember which), that recommended mixing borax with apricot jam, they tested & found apricot jam worked a bit better than other sweets.

Also, mixing borax with 'not salty' fat, (as in, not bacon fat) works fairly well, , ,

I didn't know they still made roach paste, I remember that stuff was nasty and occasionally a child would eat it.... .

Oddly enough, the ants on my razor also vanished, then they came back a week or so later .

I had a pest control company for 4 years $120 a month. Roaches never left. Fired them asked a hillbilly here. Bought some stinking spay for spider mites on evergreens. Spray outside,basement, and in home,in the walls. 2012, still no bugs except piss ants.
