To prevent your extended warranty from expiring I'm giving you a courtesy follow up

... call before I close out your file.

Oh yeah? Well courtesy call this MFers ...

Ka - POWEEE...

I don’t have an extended warranty, I don’t want an extended warranty, come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever had an extended warranty.

Here’s the plan: we find out where their server is, do an elaborate ruse of late night workmen, and we go in with sledgehammers and blow torches and leave their equipment in rubble.

Are you with me!

Been receiving that "last call" for a few years now. I just figured they were having technical problems closing out my file.

There’s a file I’d like to close out involved, that’s for damn certain.

I decided to stay on the line one time when I got one of those calls. The “customer service rep” who got on the line asked for the VIN of my car. I politely inquired why they needed the VIN since they must already have it if they knew my warranty ( which I didn’t have ) was about to expire?

CLICK…….

They hung up, not me

I try to keep the spammer-scammers on the phone as long as possible. That hurts them much more than just hanging up. My best luck was with the "Windows Support Department.' I could keep them going for ten minutes. I'd say I was glad they called because the left-rear power window in my Chevy Cobalt stopped working.

Sometimes I tell them that a can't log onto their website because I'm watching a porn video of their mom ****ing a goat. That always goes over well.

I would ask what the fine print defines , as if your really are interested in getting an extended warranty , ask them if they can read line by line of what the fine print details , you being of course interested in this warranty program , wink , wink ...Then ask if it covers the blinker fluid tank .

I talked to them one time. I figured I’d waste their time a little bit. I said that yes I would like an extended warranty. So she asked me the model of my car, I said it was a 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC. She said something about how it was too old for an extended warranty.

But now I’m starting to feel like an idiot for answering any of those calls. T-Mobile has a feature, “scam likely“ appears on the screen, they are always correct. I have never gotten a message from one of those that was worth my time. Either my phone or T-Mobile will turn the message into a text, all I had to do was copy and paste for the thread title.

Friends have told me that answering any of those is a big mistake, because then they know you’re a real person and they’ll sell your number to other spammer-scammers. I’m getting a lot of those calls lately, like one or two an hour. It’s not right, I don’t know how we stop it though.

NEWS FLASH: Voice mail is your friend. Also, best to leave the "generic" message on your voice mail, in other words, they just reached a robot.

No shyte Sherlock. I answer one out of 200 junk calls and I'm going to quit doing that. I might get a new phone number soon.

I just got another voice mail - sent to text - about how I've been chosen for a free stay at the Marriott! Imagine my excitement.

Hitting the key to opt out never works. I think it means they have a live person.

I have been getting SMS spam lately from bots ("realtors") trying to buy a property they think is mine in Georgia. It is the former address of my deceased grandmother...and the address itself is a nursing home. I am tempted to bite at one.
