Many decades ago when I was 18 I met, wooed and married a beautiful, young and exciting girl .

She gave me a wonderful and healthy son .

Also endless misery and heartache for no reason I could discern .

Now I know she was a "karen" ~ a drama queen who was never happy unless everyone around her was upset of kissing her feet .

I'm lucky. Frau Putzer is too lazy to be a Karen.

Actually, Karens are a subset of the group "Psycho *****es." I've run into plenty of them, at work and in the Bubba Estates HOA. One percent of the population meets the clinical definition of psychopathy. With joint ownership, there are about 250 property owners in Bubba Estates. So, there are likely 2.5 psychopaths in that group, and they are drawn to getting involved in the HOA.

Anytime I encounter a psychopath, I make a point of standing up to them. That makes a confrontation inevitable.

What makes a good wife or otherwise has been discussed over the years. The ladies have their similar discussions about us.

Am old rule is to really understand their mothers. As often you are getting a preview in a younger version. No guarantees of course but better than nothing.

Besides the emotional context the greatest difficulties between couples remain monetary in nature. According to statistical surveys.

The divorce rate is so high it should not be taken lightly. Things that seem to be going well in general can change fast.

One of the Bubba Estates HOA psycho *****es is actually named Karen. She's on the BoD. She's naturally immune to COVID. Her husband was home sick with it, she was right under his nose the whole time, and never got sick. The Bubba Estates HOA normally hold the annual homeowners meeting in April or May. Karen and two other *******s pushed to have the 2021 meeting in February, the earliest allowed by the bylaws and before most people could get vaccinated. They did this to make coming to the meeting dangerous. Then then did "proxy harvesting" collecting enough proxies to rig the BoD election.

There was a psycho ***** at work who spent most of her career conducting vendettas against high-achieving White males. Because White males aren't protected, she got away with this up until a few years before she retired. She finally pissed off her boss and got removed as a supervisor and set to the "Pie Chart Division."

Sounds exactly like how the government works......

In some aspects yes, the government works like that .

Why I always stood up to the bullies and never complained when I was transferred to an unpopular posting ~ they were always way the hell and gone away far from the meddling of karens and whatever you call male karens, I was able to get much work done and was known as the go to person when the excrement touched the rotary oscillator....

The condo boards are perfect examples of how things can go astray .

The real funny / sad thing is : my son married his mother , he doesn't like her at all so why choose a duplicate to marry ? .

We could probably all spend hours talking about our own experiences.

I think men typically live less due to the frequent interruption of their otherwise pleasant life due to the ' complaints from women '.

I've known two really good women. My mother and my ' good wife '. I made the mistake of divorcing her because she worked too much and I wanted someone to spend more time with me. Sweetest, nicest person I've known and 16 years of never ever having an argument. Found out how lucky I'd been once I started spending time with other women.

Building something together. I have found worthwhile over the years. Both the wife and myself came from similar backgrounds, Not sure of how much that helps or not.

Perhaps it is just good coincidence if you meet the right person or not. I consider myself to have been very fortunate.

I wonder about the similar back grounds thing .

So far that hasn't appealed to me .

My ex called me a few weeks ago, she wanted to go back to Guatemala for a visit and had no one (not even our son) to take her and was afraid to take a taxi at 04:00 so I told her I'd arrive late (I had a busy day planned), sleep on her couch and take her to the airport, I arrived took off my shoes and was prolly passed out before she had the lights off .

I hope she finds someone else to pick her up when she returns .

In general, life depends on how much you put into it .
