Reason #88 to NOT serve booze on airlines....
Drunk passengers = nothing but trouble.

#1. Airline sells passengers lots and lots of BOOZE.
#2. Passengers get good and drunk, then cause problems. #3. Airline claims "we had nothin' to do with it!!!" Last edited by merc lover; 05-04-2022 at 11:25 AM. |

The problem with a year in jail (or better, prison) is : too much $$ ! .

Remember, it takes TWO to tango. The airline executives who decided to sell booze on flights are just as guilty as the passengers they served it to.

There is an apparent contradiction here; according to the FAA, it is ILLEGAL to serve booze to a drunk passenger. The FAA also says it is illegal to allow a DRUNK passenger to board a commercial aircraft.
And yet the airlines themselves like to sell booze to passengers. Something wrong...... |

Why should people who drink responsibly be denied libations because of the occasional isolated incident?

They're no longer isolated incidents .
I wish I knew the answer .

Think about this; TSA runs people through the security gauntlet seizing cell phones, mouth wash or worse, searching body cavities.
After you hopefully make it through their security theater, they allow you to board an aircraft full of strangers. As the flight gets underway, flight attendants get busy serving BOOZE to people who are already stressed out....... Reason #89 to keep your feet on the ground..... |
