Product I think is better than most

For years I've had trouble finding socks that are comfortable and fit well.

I bought mine at Costco, but currently they are out of stock. Found same on Amazon if you'd like to check product info. They are available from a few places. Same brand has different blend of material. I prefer the following:

Brand: Original Weatherproof Vintage
5-Pairs Men's Weatherproof Vintage Outdoor Wool Blend Crew Calf Socks
4.9 out of 5 stars 12 ratings

& FREE Returns
May be available at a lower price from other sellers, potentially without free Prime shipping.
Color: Multi-color

$28.99

Blue,navy
$28.74

Brown
$28.67

Charcoal
$26.42

Multi-color

Thanks for the tip. I keep buying socks trying to find comfy ones. Every month or three I throw away another pair of them.

I typically wear holes in the bottom of my socks from not having shoes on in the house. Have had the socks about 3 months now, still comfortable, stay up, & so far no holes.

Another thing I've had no luck for over 55 years, until recently, is making "fancy restaurant" type good tasting coffee at home.

Three months ago, bought Costco Medium Roast and tried it in an OXO Barista Brain 12 cup maker that was given to us by a neighbor. Since then, every morning we have had really pleasant tasting coffee. We tried the Costco coffee in our old coffee maker and it was still good tasting, just not quite as ' smooth ' and pleasant.

I also have had trouble finding socks I like. Recently purchased these on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Dickies-Multi-Pack-Dri-Tech-Moisture-Control/dp/B085HJCPF4/ref=sr_1_5?crid=384ESSBWC93R&keywords=Dickies%2BMen%27s%2BDri-tech%2BMoisture%2BControl%2BCrew%2BSocks%2BMultipack&qid=1659056783&sprefix=dickies%2Bmen%27s%2Bdri-tech%2Bmoisture%2Bcontrol%2Bcrew%2Bsocks%2Bmultipack%2Caps%2C498&sr=8-5&th=1&psc=1
Very comfortable. If the link does not work they are "Dickies Men's Dri-tech Moisture Control Crew Socks Multipack"

What is this 15% wool trash you speak of? I've wool socks that are 15, 20 years old and I wear them every day. Keep you feet warm, and warm when wet.
Ok, maybe having 20 pair to cycle thru reduces wear.

Good Socks

I always buy "cushion sole" socks, I weigh over 200# .

"Wigwam" makes good socks in America, they're great but the last time I ordered boot socks they sent me dress socks instead ~ they wear like iron but are too thin and beat my poo old feet (soles) to death .

I bought "Puma" brand at Costco a while back, largest size they sell/sold. First pair, tight. second pair, same. Figured I'd try washing those 2 pairs & see what happen. Tighter yet, my feet got numb. So, I've got 4 brand new pairs in the back of the sock drawer.
I have size 14 feet, occaisionally a pair of size 13 shoes fit, not often tho. What a drag it is to have 'tuna boats' for shoes, , , ,

Those are great. I have bought myself a pack every year for the last couple years now.

Costco periodically stocks the best tasting and smoothest ' Brie cheese ' we've ever eaten.

If it froze well I think I'd buy a year's supply. It's usually very difficult to find the triple cream version from any US supplier.

"D'affinois Excellence", a French triple cream brie.

This site shows a picture of the Costco package:

At our local Costco it showed up again after not being available for months. They usually sell out very quickly. It's about one pound in size & fairly priced. We bought four yesterday at the Frisco Texas Costco. As I recall about $11 each.

Getting older, eating good food is one of the few pleasures I can still enjoy. We like to gently soften it in a microwave and spread it on a thin mild tasting cracker. Too nice of a taste to mess it up with honey or jam.
