A few beautiful and unique bridges

To me, one of the best things that humans do is architectural and engineering creations.

Nice! Do you have to join something? I was only able to access two bridges.

One of my favorite views of New York. Harlem River bridges about 1884, looking north towards Highbridge. What's amazing is that these bridges have been replaced twice since. Only Highbridge survives in parts: the center section was replaced with a steel truss in the 1930's to allow tall masted ships to go up the river!

Approximately the same view today:

Bridges

Those are all very neat .

I love that art is part of them .

Don't forget Colorado's Royal Gorge Bridge, opened during the depression, it's a mile high and no longer allows vehicle traffic , fun to go look .

As I recall, a few months ago Architectural Digest asked for my email address, after that I was able to see all of the article I clicked on.

Since then I subscribed to the print version delivered to our house. Thought I was getting a good deal at $20 a year. After paying, just before New Years, they offered a subscription for $5 for the print version mailed out.

So far, they've never asked me to pay to see articles on-line. Never have to sign in either.

I looked back at my email history for Architectural Digest. In August I entered my email address and received free access to the daily articles sent out by Architectural Digest. I dnn't recall creating an account with password. I believe the daily Emailings fall under ' AD today '.

In December I paid $20 for one year of mailed out magazines.

Today I created an account with password on the Conde Nast website due to my order placed in December. Now I have an account with password.

I also found that ' Mercury Magazines ' sometimes offers one year of free Architectural Digest.

Bridges are my love. I think bridges are a work of art. Who else thinks so? My dream is to finally get on the bridge in San Francisco. I'm sure I'll get there soon at this rate. I mean, I travel a lot. in the meantime, I'm flying to Turkey https://voyagu.com/destinations/business-class-flights-to-europe-turkey-istanbul/ I am very happy to be a client of this company. It seems to me that their travel experts have an unparalleled commitment and ability to offer the best rates in the industry. It's right. Imagine, thanks to the fact that this company gave me a big discount, I will fly business class for the first time in my life. It's so cool. In general, I'm looking forward to it.

Nice lines on this bridge!

I used to drive this route (I-15 San Diego county =Bonsall), on Saturdays and/or Sundays, going to Elsinore to fly gliders/sailplanes.

One time an airplane flew under it right in front of me, plenty of room!
