Walking Pneumonia

I got a pretty nasty cold about 1 mo ago. It took about 2 weeks until I felt better but here a month later I have a persistent cough that gets worse later in the day. I looked it up online and my symptoms are textbook except for loss of appetite. My wife said I'm going to be Dead Man Walking if I don't stop coughing. So how long do I wait for it to clear on it's own? Whenever I get a cold (rarely) the cough lasts for a few weeks but longer this time. I'm working on the property pretty much as normal but a bit fatigued.
Edit-I guess "walking pneumonia" is not treated unless it's severe-guess I will wait a few days more and see how it goes before I get it checked out. Said it can take 6 weeks to clear. Don't really want to spend a day getting tests, x rays etc if I don't need to.

I started out with bronchitis, that turned into RSV and I ended up with pneumonia. Docs had me on two rounds of antibiotics Took 5 weeks for me to get to the point where I could go back to work. Sill have a bit of a cough but not nearly as bad as it was.

It's mostly a nuisance but I'm a bit concerned the cough has lasted this long. It's a dry cough so not full blown pneumonia.

Mine is a dry cough as well that is originating in the chest as opposed to the throat. I'm at 6 weeks now.

I have jury duty in a few days. I don't suppose I will be able to go if I am still coughing. My wife watches a lot of crime dramas and I was all reved up for a murder trial.

Here in TX you can postpone jury duty.

Every day it's a little better.
