Kansas City Chiefs fans have undergone amputation… …after sub-zero playoff game, hospital confirms Damn. I likes me some football, but something like that might take some of the joy out of it. I’m guessing that battery powered mittons and shoe warmers might be something good to invest in if you were any kind of vendor at Arrowhead Stadium. https://tinyurl.com/2td78w48 Quote:

Yet another reason to watch these events on your own television sitting in the safety and comfort of your own home. Best Buy has a few big screen televisions right now that have my name on them. Talk about a great picture! Who needs to purchase over priced game tickets when you can get a better view sitting in your living room? |

I mostly agree, but there is something to be said for a group energy and a live event. Every now and then I like to watch a movie at a theater. It can be a lot better than watching it at home. As long as there isn’t some fool, talking incessantly in the back. |

Some how I inherited my mother's elephant memory. Around 20 or so years ago I took a date to an indoor movie theater for what we thought would be a nice enjoyable evening. As the movie began, a group of people in the front row began making a lot of noise and racket. I finally decided to go track down the movie manager. I asked him to come witness the noise and carrying on for himself. He did come to see the problem for himself, however when he noted that the people making the racket were the same race as himself, he declined to do anything about the "problem". If I remember correctly, the movie, popcorn and soft drinks totaled around sixty dollars. Yet another reason to stay home is the recent Florida movie theater and Colorado movie theater shoot-out. People nowadays are much more tightly wound than in days past. You pay sixty dollars only to get carried out in a body bag? Who needs that? I'm in the process of building a rather nice home theater room (thank you Best Buy!!) so I can enjoy movies and sporting events in the privacy of my own home. |

I go to the movies all the time with my friend...My popcorn bucket is a promo from 2017 when we started. Never had a problem yet. One, or even a few bad experiences will not dictate how I do things but to each their own. |

Merc lover has a devotion to avoiding unpleasant experiences in public. I will say that in my experience nine times out of 10 when a group of people is talking too loudly and way too frequently in a movie theater they share the same demographic to which he refers. |

that’s just wild. like yeah football's fun and all but no game’s worth losin toes over. can’t believe folks stayed out there in minus 27 wind chill, that’s just brutal. feel bad for the people goin through amputations now, that’s life-changing stuff. kinda makes you think twice about tailgating in arctic temps. hope the stadium or someone starts handin out heat packs or somethin, cause this ain’t it. |

They’re a bunch of pussies. I’ve never heard of anything like this. I use to live in Wisconsin and been to packer..badger games when it’s -20 with no issues like this of any kind. A lot of Wisconsinites go there in shorts |

Busted. I'm ashamed, but I find pictures of Wisconsinites in 0° weather wearing shorts to be fascinating. I'm still waiting for dude to bring them forward. |

Well I lived there so I experienced it, plus why would I be taking pictures of random dudes? Beer in one hand cheese curds in the other. |
