they may. I'm going to the launch party tonight. I'll try to find out more.

I got 3000 minutes anytime for $50.00 a month and the standard phone which is actuallya nice little phone for $89.99 with an $89.00 rebate so phone cost me $.99

Service seems good so far.

i got an email from t-mobile that was in response to a question i sent to voicestream. the voicestream site also says t-mobile on it. gsm coverage is pretty good out west. east coast is spotty and not quite as good as verizon or even at&t. i have a couple of voicestream phones but if i needed good cellphone service in the NYC metro area i would have to go verizon...

I have verizon also, which works great. But too many friends and family call on it, so I end up using lots of minutes. this way friends and family can call me on the T-mobil, and I can use the verizon for business.

Plus I like having one of the first numbers from t-mobile. heheheh its a good one.

T-mobile bought voicestream as far as I have been told.

The plan for my local area is $49.99 for 3000 anytime minutes.

Its not bad. They have some bugs to work out still, but I got the phone for it for $1.00 And I may get that new ericsson t68i which is a really cool phone.

The launch party was pretty cool, Catherine Zeta-Jones was there via satellite as she is the spokeswoman for T-Mobile. They were giving out all sorts of prizes in raffle, too bad I didn't win, but I really wanted that 20' plasma TV they gave away.

Makes you wonder how any of these telcos can make any money these days?

No wonder WorldCom fudged their financial sheets!

The plan sounds great, but what about the service area? Cingular Wireless offers similar plans, but want service anywhere in Eastern WA? Yeah, right! Not gonna happen!

Verizon may not be the best deal by far, but they have far superior service coverage to Sprint or any other mobile phone carrier; at least in the Pacific NW.

Their phones aren't very stylish; not like Sprint phones at all. What are the phones of T-Mobile like?

not bad at all.

www.t-mobile.com

BTW T-mobile uses cingular's towers but their own switches, and are building towers where cingular doesn't have towers.

Service coverage so far is on par with other services like verizon.

I'm satisfied. I have the $1.00 phone and I actually like it alot its a nice little phone.
