How about this smooth move
I awpke at 6:00 AM this morning with both children in bed so up I got.
I then decided to go to my office, 1 mile from home, to check the mail. Which car to take? Too close to take the 300 TD. The 450 SLC could use some exercise. I'll go by the office and take a little jaunt down the parkway to Mount Vernon. Then home. Get the mail. Walk out of the inner office, lock the door. LOCK THE DOOR. Where are the keys? You guessed it. In the office. Walk home 16 blocks. Nice morning for a walk. Home. Need a key to get in. Ah, there is one in the back yard Gate is locked. Jump over gate, let myself in the back door. Call a cab. You can guess the rest. Nice morning for a walk. Bernie |

Good attitude about it..
I met some friends one day to play golf. We all met up in the parking lot of the liquor store(go figure) and were going to ride the other 50 miles in one of the guys bigger vehicle. I had just driven 70 miles and whipped into the lot, jumped out of the car and started shaking hands. Car is still running so I go over to open the door and get my clubs. LOCKED!! with the engine runnig an hour away from my other keys. After several attemts with various tools, the old wire clothes hanger came through!! Boy, they still rag me about that!!:p

I had a co-worker do something similar..
he went in the office until lunch and came out and discovered the car locked with the engine running.
The car ran out of gas as he stood trying to figure out what to do. Never lived it down. Bernie |
