reading codes
 

Help!
I have a 1982 300SD Benz (126) that is a light metallic silver (possibly silbergrau metallic?) with a darker metallic silver color on the bumpers, mirrors and lower body cladding. I am trying to find the correct paint codes. Can you advise me on how to read the factory plate under the hood? Someone has told me that DB did not list a paint code for the bumpers. Is this true? Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated!!!
