Thumbs down Bad Bad Luck!

Well you guys aren't going to believe this.

I just got rear ended hard, whole rear of my car is crumpled. trunk wont open, unibody bent, possible frame damage, possible totalled car.

I'll post pics when I get a chance to.

I'm in too much pain right now too, my neck and back hurt real bad, and to top it off, I quit smoking cigarettes yesterday, and I want one so bad now because of the accident.

Do I have bad luck or what lately?

thats 3 things damaging my car within 6 months. 2 rear end accidents and a parking lot accident.

Argh.

If I get paid out enough, I may just be getting something else, like a 500E or something, we shall see what happens. Luckily, My Girlfriends dad is a PI Attorney, and her mom is a physical therapist.

Alon

Ouch I am so sorry to hear this streak of bad luck. Some people do believe that once a car has been hit it will get hit again.

I hope you're allright and you could figure out what you're going to do. I'd just get another car..

Sorry again..

Man, you do have baaaad luck.

I'm sorry that you're in pain, and also that your car is probably totalled.

If I were you and I was looking for a replacement car, I'd look for (not in any particular order):

1. 560 SEC
2. E320 Sportline coupe ('94-'95)
3. 500E / E500
4. 400E / E420
5. S500

Alon,

My sincere condolences! For some reason life is testing you. Good thing you have a MB vehicle to help protect you!

WRT smoking cessation, if you can make it through the next week without smoking, you will be able to quit forever.

Hang in there!!!

My condolences Alon - here's to a fast healing of you, and hopefully your car. Although from the sounds of it, you might be out luck. Or in luck seeing as a 500E may be in the future

It is a pretty sad thing having a car you've put so much work into go to the scrapyard because of some other inattentive driver. At least your MB did it's job in keeping you intact!

Regards,
- Ryan

Unhappy Sorry for your troubles........

i am truely sorry, it is a shame that some of us put so much time in something that we love so much, only to have it lost in less than a second. I do believe that all things happen for a reason. It may be your time for the 500E500. Good luck and godspeed for your health, and remember Alon, a car can always be replaced, a life is a different story.

I think a 400E or E420 would be a nice car for you. Sure, you'd lose the coupe style, but you'd gain the power of an M119 V-8 engine, and admission into the world of "MB Hot Rods". Plus, you're already familiar with the W124 body style.

Oh yeah, how about a Volvo station wagon for a $2500 grocery getter that doesn't matter if it gets hit/totalled (in addition to another MB)? Hope your accidents are at an end with this one.

Ouch..!

Looking at the pics, it really doesn't seem that bad. But considering how hard the W124 can get get rear-ended without ANY signs of damage, i would say you took quite a punch.

..Is that black tape on the tail lights, to make the lower half appear as two horizontal red bars..?
