Red face Forums seem pretty quiet lately?

Figured I had a lot of catching up to do once I got back on my feet, but after cruising through the different forums, I have found very little thread activity in tha past week or so.

Are we running out of topics? We've certainly gained a few more members.

Perhaps, everyone is busy?

I noticed the same thing the last several days. The forum has been quiet lately, but I assume that people are just now busier with work and school.

Hey Jim, congratulations on the impending baby. Is this your first? Do you know if it's a boy or a girl?

Its my third, her second. Not exactly what it is, maybe and hopefully a girl. The doctor doing the ultra sound asked what we wanted. When we said a girl he pushed a button and said "There, I just pushed the girl button." I'm not altogether sure about the capabilities of the doctor or his machine.

Come over the G/ML forum. One member affectionately referred to it as the “viper pit” recently.

BTW, way to go Jim!

I will admit that the "G vs. ML" threads have been as emotional as the "dino vs. synthetic oil" and "pink vs. green coolant". You'd think the G-Wagen and the ML were made by totally different manufacturers as fierce as some of the posts have been!

I'm lucky I can be on at all...dunno who here's read my post, but my computer's in pieces right now while I try to figure out why the motherboard's not recognizing the hard drive... I'm on my mom's system right now (fortunately, she's not home)...

And, after my hard drive's recognized, I get to put a new one on and install Windows...and hopefully have a stable system for a while.

Surely haven't been do'in my part....

Been through a lot of emotional peaks and valleys lately,.... mostly valleys. But this thread makes me think of the Richard Pryor skit from many years ago. Loosely quoted here..

Richard lived next door to a Doberman that loved to chase him and try to bite him. He would run from the dog at first sight. One day the dog saw him sitting on the doorstep and ran to attack. Richard just looked at the dog and didn't move. The Doberman, sensing something was wrong stopped just shy of his target and said; "Is something wrong?" Richard replied, "Yeah, my best friend just died."
The dog said "Man I hate to hear that, but look man, you can't let it get you down, your friend wouldn't have wanted you to be sad."
Richard said " You know, you're right! You've made me feel better about this and I thank you! You're not so bad after all!"

As the Doberman walked slowly away, he got to the fence and looked back at Richard, "but you know I'm gonna be after your ass tomorrow don't you!!?"
:p
Give us time!!
