CLK500 vs CLK320

Are these basically the same cars with different engines? I'm trying to make sense of the marketing hype that says that the CLK500 is all new.

Thanks,
Sixto

Well, I think they are probably both the new generation C209 (?) CLK, and came along at the same time, and are both all-new

There is an all new CLK available. It is very beautiful, much more so than the W208. It is also a great drive (I've had a shot in a CLK320). So basically the CLK320 and CLK500 are both all new. As is the CLK200k, CLK240 and CLK270 CDi. Here is a pic from mbusa.com.

As has been said, little difference between the CLK320 and CLK500, big difference between the 2002 models and 2003 models. In 2002 we has the 320 and 430, which has now been replaced by the 500.
