MY visit to M.B. AUTO WERKS

i was in atlanta for a couple of days this week.

i couldn't help myself, i had to check out the home of mercedes shop!

WOW! what a place! it is super! it is a very nice and [quite] huge.

i called for directions and talked to bill, i didn't tell him i was a hopelessly addicted mercedes shop freak until i got there.

bill and his lovely wife showed me the place. i have to say again what a great looking and greatly equipted place it is. [sorry]

benzmac was out to lunch when i first got there. when he pulled up in that SWEEET 190 16v, i didn't see him, i HEARD him.

he has the most awesome 16 valve [turbo] i have ever seen and RIDDEN in!

i believe he said it has about 475 horsepower, it was obvious!
he offered a ride [seconds before i was going to ask].
it got rubber in EVERY gear we got to!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!

that was one of my top car rides ever! thanks donnie.
i got a few pictures i will post later.

if you are in atlanta or near by go over and have a look and GET something done on your car.

my ONLY regret was i was driving my explorer [had been to the mountains in asheville], and NOT MY BENZ! they still let me park out front.

just being there,i was wanting to get some work done so badly i almost asked if they would change my oil! [they didn't have my oil weight].

anyway THANKS AGAIN bill and donnie for your time and effort and for having the BEST mercedes website on the internet!
