Any OSX/Graphics users out there?
 

Has anyone been using OSX? I'm particularly interested in those of you who might be doing video editing/motion graphics and print graphic design. I do both print and motion graphic but am reluctant to go OSX - fear of the unknown. Any feedback? Has anyone had a "kernal panic" yet?

Yes, I'm using OSX 10.1.5 right now on my PowerBook G4 Ti I had been using 9.2 and the old, old OSX that came with the Ti was bad (crashing). 10.1.5 and the new 10.2 are much more reliable than 9.2 and any Windows machine. I still haven't upgraded all my programs to OSX based so I still use classic in OSX...but it works well. I use my PowerBook for film editing, and graphic design, and web.

You'll like 10.1.5 or higher.

Sorry about that, get the 10.1.5, its much better. I am new to Macs, currently working on a PowerBook Wall Street. I love X, but the first versions had its problems....
