My 1988 300sel

I have finally developed and scanned a picture of my car to show. She's an Ohio car.. and surprisingly has no rust (knocks on wood). I keep her in the best shape as I can, and take pride of taking care of my first Benz and car.:D

very nice Snibble! Tint is recommended and would look siccck on your car!

Yes i am planning on tinting the window... as well as get new wheels. As of now.. money is tight, so I am putting it off till later. Right now I have $ saved to do maintenance and/or problems that would incur. Once I start my new job.. I will be putting $ aside for the upgrades ;)

Nice ride, Snibble! I can't tell from the glare...what color is it?--white, ivory, yellow?
You're very lucky to find a northern car with no rust! What color interior? Post some more pix for us. :) Mike |

Its Arctic White (MB 147) and the interior is gray. It currently has a little over 174,000miles. Seats have no tears... and I just replaced the wooden part on the center console.. so I have a near perfect interior :D

Beautiful car, Snibble!! I'll bet you're the only guy in your group of friends with something that nice. :)

My scanner is pretty bad.. darkens all my pictures. The front wheel is not dark like that. The picture makes it look like it has brake dust on the wheel, but the picture was taken after I cleaned the car. However.. parts of the wheel has faded. Once I rack enough $... I will use them as my winter wheels. Thanks for the compliments:D :D

Quick question...
Is there a difference between the 300sel and 420sel besides the engine/tranny etc.? Interrior the exact same thing? Just curious. |
