Yaw and Roll

Would someone please explain in simple terms what yaw and roll are? What's the difference?
I've read so many definitions I'm confused. I know both involve rotation of the car and both occur in cornering, roll happens along a line drawn horizontally, yaw happens along a line drawn vertically.
I"ve heard guys say things like they don't like the old S class sedans because there's too much body roll, but I'm not too sure they're using the term correctly. I've never heard anyone say they didn't like a certain car because there was too much yaw.
