My wife loves the 107 SL but always complains that you do not know how old it is. I tried to get her to learn the badges and about years to know avail. So she thinks people should know so our tag is not vanity, I guess. I wanted MY380SL which could be had at the time but my wife prevailed and now my tag is.

my 427 cobra replica had "UNREAL' on it.
I still constantly got asked the ever annoying, "is it real" question though. My 500e has a German plate up front that says "MBZ-500E" Funny how soo many around here have no idea what it is,,,,, especialyy C5 vette owners who routinely get their doors blown off at the track! I haven't figured out yet what to put on my GT40 when it is done, maybe "1LEMANS" for won lemans,,,,,,,, or "UNSLOW" to state the obvious.

Mine says ATOMIC but it's on my Passat, which is sort of a plutonium green color (VW calls it "Elegant Green"). The benz awaits my wit to concoct a suitable word. My wife's Email is MercedesBunz@comcast.net but "MERCEDESBUNZ" won't fit
 Plus I'd feel goofy driving with that tag.

Oooh, oooh! I got it! "TSCHUSS"! My brother had that on his 944 for a while, it means "Ciao" in German.
My (German) wife had seen him driving and thought "That's cute" prior to meeting me. We met and fell on love then she was surprised to see my brother was the guy with the tschuss plates. -Tom
