Someone posted this link in an earlier thread, but it still makes me laugh!

It should be titled, "Zen and the Art of Ricing"!

When you get your Legacy Turbo running in the 13s at the drag strip in Kent or Auburn, I think that's where you meet her.

The hot asian girls generally love these highly modified Hondas. I was watching "Hi_Rev-tuners" or something like that on Speedvision.

Both the asian and the blonde hosts are really something..

Anyway, looking at all those 'tight' imports I kinda thought to myself "sure it seems pointless to me... but these diesels are pointless to them" hehehe...

I like their passion for these things though.

Oh well... in Boston though it seems that whenever I see a hot Asian girl she is most likely to be in a BMW M3 (I swear, those things are so common around here) than a Japanese Import.

As much fun as it is to slam the ricers, I have to admit some of them are kinda cool. I watch the new NOPI program on sunday, and some of the cars are definately way over the top. But some are very well done.
I have to compare to what my generation used to do to every Chevy they could get their hands on in the 70's. Tires on the back so huge, they had to put shakels(sp?) on the rear springs to keep the body from scraping. And the shakels would make the spring bend the other way! They'd slam a huge 4 barrel carb on and call it a hot rod. I knew one guy that upholstered the whole interior with fake balck fur. It was an otherwise very nice Camaro, but the interior made you feel like it was going to attack at any moment.
to each their own.......

I guess I'm getting old!

I wanted to chime in with "hottie" and "she's bangin", but as I watch my daughter "blossom" into a quite an attractive little woman, I'm starting to wonder if I want those same comments directed to her...
