Ok I'll start, others add.

240D: I don't care much about being passed on the freeway by mopeds and cyclists. I crave ultimate reliability as well as economy. I am extremely practical. I also get a slight ego boost from driving a Mercedes:D

I think it says that I have an appreciation for something (in this case a car) that is well built, safe, and gives me a lot of joy! :)

I think it says I appreciate good things in life.

380SE: Who cares if it goes 0-60 in 10 seconds and maxes at 120 mph, I still have a turbine-smooth Mercedes V-8; one of the smallest V-8 engines ever to grace the highway in modern times. Plus, it's one of the most cost-effective ways to get into the W126 body style without hearing "klattaklattaklatta" from under the hood. ;)

There seems to be a continuing thing between Sam and me. I can hear him singing, "Anything 5 can do 8 can do better..." :)

1980 450sl. With the top down, it really speaks volumes, but I don't care what others think...they're all just jealous!!

Let it be known that if you ever find someone with a 300SDL in good shape who's willing to swap it for a well-kept old turbocharged Volvo, I'm game. I like even numbers of cylinders. ;)

I think it says that I'm a spoiled young yuppie. To most people anyway!

I would like to think it says that I appreciate fine automotive engineering, have great taste, care about quality & build, and sure, prestige. Sure it also says that I'm financially stable (I'm not - parents!).

Mine says I am flashy and flamboyant, an attention getter at every turn. There's nothing I love better than to cruise through town with the top down, the wind breezing through my hair;).

IT may be from shaft originally. But I get it from The Movie "The Ladies Man" which has been on the satellite alot lately. I think its a hilarious movie.
