Audi A8? MB comes on hard...

S430 and S500 4-matic models means no more reason for considering an Audi A8...

...nice!

There was a BBC show on today TopCar or something and they pretty much said the same thing. The A8 was a great car, but it was no match for the MB was pretty much what they said.

I like the idea too, but have to wonder how sky-high body shop repairs would be on such a car. But maybe not any worse than any other "luxery"car.

You can get a stick-shift Audi S8 in europe (just like in Ronin) though, right?

A friend of mine bought one of the first S8's imported into the US.

I have to tell you that it is one VERY cool car. Performance is just outstanding and it has many refinements, none of which I can remember, which make you think......I wonder how they thought of that.

Like I said, a very cool car.

Apart from what looks like expensive insurance bcuz of the aluminium body, the A8 looks better than the S500. The new A8 is a beautiful car.

I've always held the belief that Audi/VW make the best looking cars ever since they came out with the A4,A6,A8, the current Jetta, Beetles and Passats. There was one year I think it was 1998 where everything they produced looked good. With most companies, MB,Porsche and BMW included, only one or two models actually look good, with VW/Audi, even the station wagons and Eurovans look good. I love the new A4.
