Worst Merc custom ever?

I've seen alot of disgusting Mercedes, but I think this one takes the prize.

Check out the steering wheel!!
Wish I had a Black/White TV in my car!

This car makes me wonder if some people should be allowed to purchase Mercedes.:(

Yikes..!

If he really wanted to ruin a perfectly good MB, why didn't he just set it on fire?
This is as far from good taste as it gets..

At least the interior is tasteful.

"I BUILT THIS CAR THREE YEARS AGO,"...BULL$#!T!!

From my custom car experience, the styling cues (especially the interior appointments) scream of early eighties!!! Actually, a seventies custom, freshened up in some areas during the eighties!

The ground effects and wheels are from that era (ala "mini-truck" theme), and interior also falls in that category...I know...I did my Bug around that time, and the interior is quite similar! ;)

Note the early Alpine phone, and the dated assessory components to boot. Cars customized in the 90's used billet components and tweed interiors, and today are going to leather and are mimicing the dash layouts of the Audi TT stylings.

This is NO millenium effort!

LOL......I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I saw that thing!

This guy must be on some serious drugs to think he can sell that for $10,000:eek:

What is up with that steering wheel, I don't think a custom can get any worse than that.......to think that someone actually spent money to make the car look that way.

Personally I don't think that 10K is too much for having a yellow Batmobil, maybe a new emerging super hero will be interested... :D

My Dad has a mint 1979 450SL. I sent him the link. Maybe he'll make the same mods?:D :D

And that steering wheel. Probably brake off in your hand on a hard turn, he did make it himself. More American parts on it than in an American junk yard.

drbrandini 01-21-2003 10:40 PM

Personally I really like it !

HAHAHAAHA ....No :D
