You can throw performance and handling out the "bulletproof" window of course!

Must really suck to know you need that kind of protection when you venture out...is it worth it?

I recall reading articles about American working abroad, in Mexico City for instance, where armored vehicles were standard issue for executives, along with body guards, since kidnappings for quick ransom cash was epidemic. Considering that this company is located in Virginia, you have to assume that they have more than a few diplomatic and upper eschelon business customers from the D.C. area.
