Suginami.. us ectomorphs got bad genetics. Most bodybuildersI have seen are like 5'4" to 5'10" with the ideal height of 5'8". We're too tall and our bones are skinny. I have quit on weight-gaining diet. Not really working for me. ectomorphs have a hard time gaining weight and appearance.

Chan.. like suginami said.. your genetics have a big role on your ideal appearance.

Hmm, maybe one day someday somehow they can alter the genetics for size, strength, etc. or use nano technology.

I heard the most popular thing these pro bodybuilders do these days is 1) anabolic steriods 2) growth hormone injections 3) IGF-1. I wonder how much do they spend on these drugs and how long of a lifespan they will have. I guess in 20 years or so we will see. If you combine all 3 drugs, it creates a synergistic effect and can build unbeleiveable muscle.

As for my training, i train on average once every 4 days, using mike mentzers high intensity training. It has been a month now, and i didnt gain weight but my body fat went from 14% to 8% and i gained like 2 lbs maybe.

oh speaking of creatine, i heard that you should NOT drink coffee or and caffine products while on it because caffine acts as a diredict-spelling? and it works against creatine. so that might be why i am not getting optimal effects on it.

whos your favorite bodybuilder? Mine are Dorian Yates (5'8" 200lbs+) and Lee Priest (5'4" 200lbs+)

SCARS

Johnson,
SCARS is the real deal. Jerry Peterson learned the ropes first hand killing the enemy in combat. He formed SCARS as a civilian approach to self defense. Some of his training is classified and has been taught to SEAL teams and other elite military and government units. He has a website which offers all his training materials. You can even become a preferred customer and get discounts. I have most of his tapes and can say that the stuff is awesome!
You will need a training partner in order to rehearse the drills. One of you will play the attacker, the other, the defender. Practice and trade off. It also helps to have mats or some form of padding (although in real combat you would not have this luxury) Jerry's theories are based on autonomic conditioning; that the body will react certain ways when struck. He has made the art of self defense into an exact science. I highly recommend his tapes. Also pursue weight training and cardiovascular excellence. It will prepare you to be a superior martial artist, as well as a human being. One last thing, supplements are beneficial but think of them as tier 3 elements. Working out efficiently and with focus, and proper nutrition and rest are you first tiers of excellence. Watch you body-fat! Good luck!

Robert- are you familar with SAP gloves? They are the brass knuckles of the 21st century basically. Its a leather glove that looks normal, but it is filled with lead and it strengthens the punch, etc. great for winter time usage and nobody knows you have them without examining the gloves. I thought it was intersting and will get some just to have.

BODYFAT for summer:

as far as bodyfat is concerned, with summertime coming, i dont know if any of you are interested, but i ran across some bodybuilders that use a drug called "kynoselen" its a french veteranarian drug that you inject and it increases AMP and basically a tonic that helps increase muscle and shed fat and give more energy. i just heard about it and with spring/summer coming it might be of intersted to someone, i will be using it soon. and it IS legal to purchase and own. Its made for animals but i heard a lot of sucess with people using it. and it is injection. they make this stuff called "kyno-h" and its supposedly for humans and oral form but it does NOT work as well and almost everyone i talked to said it was a waste.

I dont know maybe if i get a chance to go on vacation this summer, i will be RIPPED, LOL.
