New project in the works!!
I'm working on a new mod, since I have the led bulbs I bought and wont be using as they are not bright enough for me, I'm going to use them to make some puddle lights....
SHouldn't be too hard at all, all I need are the connectors, some rust protector for any holes I drill in metal, and some wire. Maybe even an ovveride switch to turn them off at will. :) If anyone is interested in doing this mod, I'll be working on it, with pics and a writeup. I am still debating on where to put them.. I have four led's to use, I was thinking either 4 on the bottom of each door that lightup the ground when the door is opened, or int he bottom of the lower side skirts. or maybe one int he bottom of each mirror housing. I'm still working out the details, but if anyone is interested, I'll make sure to do a write up and document it. Alon |
I sense boredom here...
Pretty soon you will be installing a motorized ashtray! :D |
Alon, how do you think of all these TRICKS. Between you and your brother, you guys know them all..........

I would put two LED's under each door. If it were in the mirror, it would be too obvious and kinda tacky (depending on how you did it). If it were in the sideskirts, I don't think you would be able to spread much light without showing the LED's. Under the door, it's subtle yet functional.

well my idea involves recessing the led's so you don't see them at all, just the light. :)
I'm not bored gbenz, just planning next modifications. these are the do it when I get around to it type. :) Alon |
