Stalling on the Hills

My 85 300SD seems to be have a fuel problem. A few weeks ago while going uphill at a certain point o the hill the car would slow down, even at floor board and eventaully stalls. It finally starts after a few attempts, however, would rev ok, but under load would not go. After a few minutes she decides to go up the hill.

I changed both filters, last week and everything seemed to be ok. Today will going uo the same hill it did the same thing again.

What can be causing this? fuel distribution problem?

Andrew

Did it go up the hill the way it was supposed to any at all. It still sounds like clogged fuel filter. Maybe it is time to clean the screen in the tank.
