I ski Volkl skis. They're German, they're fast, and I love them. As for the 42, it is just some number I always pick

Volkl42 -

Good choice in skis man. I also ski on Volkls - primarily because they rock, and secondly, they match my last name.

Just got a pair of the new P50s...with the Motion bindings...they totally rock!!!

Cool Mechanical Magician

Being a professional mechanic, sometimes I have to work on some old junk. Have several customers who insist on running this type of equipment.
One told me after I had found parts and repaired an antique asphalt roller, that I was a magician. Thus the name stuck.
I have often wondered how some came about their screen names, but never asked.

The "Mike" part is obvious...I didn't want to use my last name on e-mail addresses or screen names...so when I was brainstorming for an alternative, mikemover seemed to have a good flow to it. That was about 5 years ago. It has been my e-mail name and screen name on numerous occasions since then.

Mike

Palangi (by coincidence happens to sound similar to my real name) is a Samoan word meaning "European".

Hi-Power, after one of worlds most widely produced and utilized military pistols, by Browning.

The first handgun I bought was a 9mm Hi-Power which is still one of my favorites.
