Hello All

You know I haven't actually introduced myself - just snuck in with tech questions.
So, I am Iz from Down Under and own a Finnie - 220SE
I chose Heckflossen because this is German for my car according to one of the websites on Mercs...
Heck means Tail, Flossen means Fin...hence TailFin.
Voila!

Cool Welcome to the gang! I used to have a "Finnie", a '67 230. Neat car, bad rust

I picked this name because I'm a chef.....

Actually, I'm just too cheap to buy vanity plates. This is the best alternative!

Finnie good...

Thanks for the official welcome!!
My Finnie's a '66 220SE - and surprisingly free of rust - a little bit in the sill panels at the base of the doors but nothing major. Keepin' an eye on it though!
Beaut car.

Is the SE the model that has the tips of the fins rounded off a bit? I always thought they were a beautiful car. Would like one someday, if I can find a solid one in my budget

My name just exists. I dont actually own a 420 (SEL I suppose), but I've just been using the name for a while on games and all. Unit as in a unit, like a person, and 420 just cause it's 420. (I'm young and stupid, what can I say...)
