the hill I almost didnt make up even with the good winter tires. This was due to the snow cause it was wet packing.

Where's your ski racks? You didn't fit those long XC skis in the trunk, did you?

Yes it seems to be a rare color. As for the skis, they fit in the car through the middle and into the footwell of the passenger side and there was still enough room for my passenger.

Good stuff.

The Benz looks right at home in the snow.

I went cross country skiing while on vacation in Finland this January.
My friend and I got on the Bus in Helsinki, rode 15 minutes out of town to the course and skiid till the sweat poured, for free.

Cross-country skiing is a great way to make peace with winter! I had lots of company a few weeks ago at the 55km Canadian Birkebeiner....

COOOLL! I have not been skiing in a couple of years. The last time we went was in Snowshoe, West Va. and we got 33 inches the week we were there! We had a new Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 with less than 1000 miles on it and we had to dig that mother out when we left! There were snow drifts over the roof:p

Have you ever been to the Colorado Rockies. I grew up skiing there! Vail is my fav. Lots of powder:D ! It has been ten yrs since I was last there. While we were there a skii lift collapsed killing 6 or so. It was terrible.

I have skiied Copper Mtn, Breckenridge and Keystone. I love it! Wish I could go this year! Unfortunately I am too broke:(
