Did you stay home today?

This'll probably just start another arguement, but I heard on the radio this AM that we're all supposed to call in sick, buisness owners are supposed to close shop, students are to stay home, et al. in protest of the impending war.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm not really seeing how that's going to do any good, but to each his own.
BTW, I'm here at work now
And lets try to keep this down to a college riot

Haven't heard that yet today, but I'm sure I will.

I work for FedEx, and our services are utilized in many cases to airlift personal items to our men and women of the armed forces abroad.

We may or may not agree on whether war is the answer, but I have a duty to be at work, doing my part to help our company continue to provide services...after all, these men and women are doing what they are told to do...they can't stay home and protest.

Doctors walking out to protest malpractice insurance rates is a cause...playing hookey from work to protest the war is not!

I stayed home all day yesterday....but it had nothing to do with anti-war whining.

We are supposed to ditch classes today. HA! I have a midterm. The prof is anti-war, so maybe he won't show...

I heard it on NPR (ugh) this morning driving into work. Only thing I thought was that all these students will be doing is depriving themselves of their education for the day. If any of them do, it's their own loss.

I don't have class untill 5 tonight, so I've been home, but I wouldn't skip class even if I was against the war (which I am not).

Anyway I would have liked to walk out, and I suspect many others would have too (but not really because they care about the war), but I'm already on spring break.
