ATTN EVERYONE: Signature sizes - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

While there are no set rules at the moment regarding signatures sizes, it has come to the attention of many that there are plenty of signatures out there that are becoming increasingly long in size.

Though we all love our signatures (hey, we all remember the nearly one page long signature Alon has once

), some self restriction in the size of them would be more than greatly appreciated.

Some of us view this forum at various monitor resolutions, and the signatures can appear much longer than they do on lower resolution.

On top of that, it adds to the number of pages in a thread, and makes everyone scroll for pages and pages.

Again this isn't obligatory, but out of respect for everyone (and their computer

) please review your signatures.

edit: a nice rule to go by is as follow: Pictures be no bigger than 500x100 (that means 500 wide, 100 high) with no more than 2 lines of text.

If using a text only signature, it is to not be more than 5 lines.

thanks for bringin this up! I mentioned it once, and nothing happened, but some sigs get waaaaaaay too long. No offense, but when you start talking about your shoes or center caps, it's getting a little far. If you really feel that passionate about your shoes or center caps or dog or anything like that, just provide a link to another page where you have everything listed for display that we can view on our own time. That said, I think I have to go and shorten my sig...
