Did I see YOUR Benz? (Pictures) San Francisco/Sausalito
 

Okay, yea im such a dork... I spent the last week in San Francisco and Sausalito doing job interviews.. and I couldn't help myself when i saw some nice benz's to take a digital picture of them. So I posted them and I'm curious if anyone here owns them!?!? cool, so check them out!

Who on the forum lives in San Fran or Sausalito or surrounding that area? Even if i don't post a picture of your benz, feel free to post your own!

this first one was in fisherman's wharf, looks like it is in great shape and the owner was totally dogging it blasting through there!

this one was on Geary and Van Ness...

these two are on Geary and Van Ness as well at a service station next to the Monarch Hotel. They are both for sale. The dark brown one is a 6.3, immaculate... and the Ponton had an asking price of $9,000 and it, too, was immaculate.

here's an SD on front street in the financial district, but i was actually taking a picture of the billboard ad.

beautiful W124 but im not sure what type it is. this was down near marina and fort mason, perhaps for the wine competition. i love this one.

beautiful SD at Golden Gate park on sunday. what i love about it, is the color... a gorgeous dark green.

There's also a 190 on the other side of the street in that Green SD pic, but you probably knew that, huh? I like the old MB's.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love those cars, but more importantly I love to see the city scenes. I used to work for a company in SF and the city was practically my second home. I was out there every other week for the last ten years. I recognized every location where you took those pictures. Can't wait till I go back to visit the city again :( :( :(

this is nate's C280, he's from outside of SF in davis... at least this car is just temporary until he finds a peachy delicious 1985 300D. even so, this one is beautiful

I was in SF last Friday, taking my girlfriend to the dentist to have her wisdom teeth pulled...and we're going back the day after tomorrow on a check-up...

OTOH, my car needs some love (rain plus being in pain makes for a dirty car), so (beauty-wise) it wouldn't fit in with those other cars... :(

Thanks for the cool pix! We're 100 miles north of SF and enjoy our once or twice-a-year visits. Don't have to look too far to see
some nice older MB's in very good condition. Not many Benz diesels up here in 'the sticks' . The red 1960 190D currently in Ebay is not too far away.

yea in SF there are SO MANY nice old benz's its insane. in VA it's embarassing how raggity most of them are... and when you do find a nice one the owner doesn't really seem to are about it so much.
