Honour to my 300E

I was sitting at a red light on a hill coming home from work tonight and I felt rumbling above my music. Out of curiosity I looked over to my right and there sat a black Honda Civic Hatchback all dressed up. Coffee-can exhaust, low profile tires, wings and skirts. The guy looked at me and kept revving his engine. When the light turned green, I stomped on the pedal and my 124 just took off! Left the rice boy way back and he never came close to me again.

So, what's the big deal? My 124 has close to 300K on the clock, leaking head gasket and tanny fluid. Sunroof doen't close all the way and need engine mounts badly. Oh, BTW it also needs alignment. But I beat a soup up Honda no less

Oh what a feeling ........

That's great!! What timing....

Just a couple days ago I had a similar occurance. While sitting at a stoplight I heard, what I thought was, a Harley pulling up beside me. Looking over, I saw a riced out Ford SVT with some young kid behind the wheel.

When the light turned green, I punched it. He tried to keep up, and actually did a pretty good job of it, but was no match for the E 320 (even though it's due for a tune-up in 500 miles).

Oh what a feeling!!

To add insult to injury, he had also noticed that I was drinking a cup of Starbucks and the back seat was filled with helium balloons for my Godson's baptism later that day!

Young kid beat by some "middle" aged man in a green Benz. Oh how sweet it is!!
