Made a quick site, tell me if it works plz :)

Hey everyone, I just made a quick photo gallery of my car and just wanted to know if it works for anyone here. I slapped it together in about 10mins in frontpage, so it's nothing spectacular, just tell me all the links work correctly

That's one beautiful car you've got!!

Only thing I notice is that all the pictures have been flipped backwards somehow. The car is on the left hand side of the road and the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

...................

Sorry, just had to do that!

Really beautiful! I'd love to see more detail shots.

What kind of milage do you put on her? Is she a daily driver?

It is my daily driver, it has about 156,000 miles on it.

Atm I don't have the car here, as it has been having rust repair for the past 2 weeks, and I should hopfully beable to pick it up today or tomorrow.

I'll Post some new shots once I get it back, and they'll be better, as the car will have a complete cut and polish

Nice pics. Why don't you get your panel shop to paint your wheel covers (hub caps)? I know it is fiddly to prepare and mask them but if you ask around your MB club, someone may even have a stencil. The original painted finish to match the body colour really does set the wheels off rather than leaving them bare stainless steel. I think I also prefer the look without the stone guards at the front but I can understand you wanting to protect the paint from chips. A nice 108.

Regards,
Greg

Manya,

Site loads and works. One question. What are those funky grill extensions in a couple of the pictures? Never seen any thing like em before.

It is a sweet car. Great pics.

Site loads a little slow on a dial-up. Since you are thumbnailing, set your auto thumbnail feature to around 150 to 175 pixels width (about half of what you have now). Particularly when you have some 20 or so pictures on one page. Thumbnails need to be little more than an icon when you are supplying higher resolution images.

Couple of other Front Page tips:

Open the high resolution images in a new window so users will not inadvertently loose your page by closing a picture.

Always test your links to images. Front Page will sometimes set the link to a "LocalHost" address when using the auto-thumbnail feature. Not sure if this is a fault with Front Page or Personal Web Server.

Great pics!

I took the liberty of making a new sig for you.
One of your pic was at 300ppi, giving it a jaged edge.
I hope you like it.
