Bugcedes
It took me months to accidentally find this car and get these pictures. I have meant to post them for a long time, but I forgot about them until I was checking my online photo archives.
So, here's my weird car photo gift for you all. You will not see this particular car anywhere else on the internet. BUGCEDES

Howdy Scott,
That was worth the wait. I just don't know why anyone would want to ruin a VW by doing that to it

A lot of kits were made for the VW...this was one of them.
There was also the ever-popular Rolls Royce grille, the 1940 Ford grille, and some other lesser-known models. There isn't much you CAN'T find for the early Beetles, and I have witnessed some real oddities at the car shows I visited! Except for the dune buggy conversions, in VW hobbyists circles, REAL VW afficiandos don't look at those body or grille swaps with much respect...

However, on the other hand, if you were wanting a place to put a radiator so you could cool an 1800 Subaru pushrod flat four 81 hp electronic ignition which would run an airconditioner which you used a KEP adapter to install in your bug... then that might be just what you were looking for....

LOL
My brother and I saw what had to be the worst VW "conversion" ever about 15 years ago. This kid had a VW body with a Chevy small block (289?). But, the whole mess was sitting on a home-made frame. Looked like a derilect from some high school metal shop project. (Wish I had a pic)
