pic of latest "revived" toy
well i must admit, ive been spending more time with my japanese toys than with the german ones lately. just brought this back from the dead, and was happy enough to grab a quick pic.
86 honda VFR-750-F V-4, gear driven cams, 180 degree crank (big lumpy idle), 12K rpm, 105 rear wheel HP, aftermarket cans, under 500 lbs wet. it sounds like a exotic V8 until about 7K, "then" it comes on the curve! ive had it for almost 10 years, used to do alot of riding in the north GA mtns, no time to ride the last several years. carb degunk and a dose of techron: lit the fuse, new tires and battery on the way. got both of the scooters going weeks ago, this bike is a "little bit" faster! PS- seems about right: riding red, white and blue about now. Last edited by ThrillBilly; 04-26-2003 at 09:24 PM. |
