Now IM PISSED!

I have tireflys on my benz (those light up valve stems) for the 2rd time somebody stole them off my car right in front of my house!

Some immature, F**ked up kid or adult in the neighborhood that cant get a job and afford to buy his own ***** decides to rip them off from me.

Keep in mind i have them on my car for a week or two (maximum) and some punk comes and rips them off from me. So $60 or more down the drain for nothing.

WHoever stole them better keep them in his pocked because if i see a car or bike ride through at night with blue UV's (the new version of them that are not avalible in local stores yet) drive through, i am going to ask where he got them and if i dont like what comes out of his mouth, i am going to kick his a$$.

I am going to make a "decoy" and take out the batteries or wrap a peice of paper around the tirefly telling him how immature it is to steal crap from somebody else.

Sorry but i just discovered they were missing like 5 minutes ago and need to vent.

Sure i can take them off my car at night and put them back on in the morning, but why the hassle because of an immature cheap punk

Not that i would ever dream of putting Fireflys on my Benz -or any other vehichle for that matter.. But that doesn't make it less repulsing that someone is stealing yours!

I can help you keep them. The word is Superglue!

No seriously. Could you tighten them enough so noone can unscrew them with their bare hands?
it would require that you kept a pair of pliers in the trunk, for whenever you need to check the tire pressure, but still..

Then the punk would resort to vandalism!

If he (she) can't get them off, then he-she will then yank the puppies off with pliers, leaving you with four flat "valveless" tires!

Every so often, I find my "emblem" caps missing from one of my cars...but I keep a pretty healthy supply of spares in my shop toolbox. It may be overkill, but unfortunately, it's the state of the world we live in...

Put a PC camera in the window and a sign in the yard stating:

"Smile, you are being watched! "

Lightbulb

If it's worth $60+ more to you, buy another set and a baseball bat. Teach the kid a lesson

I remember back in my youth days... when people kept stealing my dice air valve caps off of my bike. Eventually I decided not to bother buying anymore for this reason. Its hard to stop these people.

Maybe he thinks he is doing you a favor
If your going to get a baseball bat get a glove and a ball to or cops can get you for having a weapon.
Ive seen online valve caps that will shock you if you touch them but I'm sure they don't pack much punch.

Dig big moat around car!!! Then, release pet piranhas into it! Then, use tireflies as lure for unsuspecting thief!

Those B**tards did it again!!

Ok, so last night right after i made this post, i got my extra pair of tireflys that are not working and took the batteries out, i wrote on a blue stickynote saying:

"smile! i have a camera on you from the window, i want my old tireflys back or i am showing the cops this video" and taped it to the tirefly.

So that was 3 am. By 9am this morning the drivers side rear was missing. They left the drivers side front entact so i am guessing its a kid and he got "scared off" by my bluff.

I wish i could have seen the expression on the kids face when he read the note. lol.

I thought of a way to "rig" the tirefly. Ok take out the battery, put some gunpowder and 4-5 BBs in there. Change the electronics around so that it uses the valve stem as a ground, when the unscrew it, it exploads in there hand.

Because the tip of the tirefly is plastic and the case is metal, it should direct the force to the front, hence the blow will be towards there palm. (imagine holding all your fingertips together to unscrew a valve stem and having it exploaded towards your palm)

The only problem is i dont want to get sued if a kid is injured. what do you think of this?

I think you should do it, and we'll all pay your legal bills to make sure you win.

Update on this afternoon

LOL, looks like my bluff worked, this afternoon i went to the mailbox and found an envelope with 2 tireflyes and a note saying:

"Here are the two lights I took off your car please dont call the cops. Im sorry and it will never happen again. please forgive.

sincerely, J"

So that kind of made my day. But there are over 6 of them missing, so i am thinking of sticking a note on my car saying tell your friends to give up theres too, i want more 6 back.

BTW, i talked to my law professor today and he said iw ould have liabiltiy because of excessive force and its an object that attracts attention. Kind of like the farmer who riged a shotgun to the door and blew the crooks leg off and the crook sued the farmer and won. What a world we live in, lol.

I was joking with that idea too. I would have to be really really pissed to do something like that, and your right there are laws.

After a lawsuit like that, you wont see me on mercedesshop.com anymore, you will find me at www.kiashop.com LMAO

I wonder where can you get a crooked lawyer like that, there was also another case where a burgler fell through a skylight and sued the owner of the house and won.

I guess i will put another note on the car telling him and his friends to give me back ALL of them, if they do it, great, if not oh well, at least i tried to teach the kid about stealing.

I think i taught him a lession about stealing from neighbors, hopefully he will remember this expereince as he grows up.
