Good Book ! "Why People Believe Weird Things"

This book was written by a "skeptic", Michael Shermer . The definition of a skeptic is - that all claims have to be sustanciated by fact .This book deals with pseudoscience , superstition , and other confusions of our time . Warning - this book may raise serious questions in you . May also be too factual for some people . A really good book by a social scientest .You won't be able to put it down !

Beliefs under scrutiny

Alot of what we believe as adults is passed down information and non-fact based . Under scrutiny alot is really pseudoscience and superstition . Michael Shermer is the editor and founder of "Skeptic" magazine . He examines (and debunks) aliens and alien abduction , cults , creationism , satanic cults and ritual abuse , incredible religious claims with no documentation , why witches were burned and the phenomena of mass hystaria , many pseudo scientific therories and much much more . Interesting stuff ... This book ia a "must have", if you have an investigative and curious mind .
