Terrible NCAP C-Class crash test
Does anyone out there have any information on the 2-star/marginal rating that a '97 C180 picked up in the European NCAP test? I wonder what the test conditions were, and if Mercedes had a response to the performance. There's also a NHTSA test that's much more positive, and apparently loss data from the insurance industry is pretty favorable... here's a quick overview of all the tests I've found at:

Thatnks, I've read the thread about the Dateline bumper test, but that one isn't that big of a deal for me. I was interested in the results of the European NCAP test:
